"Band Aide"

This was designed when I was a student at University of Wisconsin-Stout. The story behind this sculpture project, when I was little band aides didn't match my skin. In the 80's band aides were only a caucasian skin tone. I found this so strange, and remembering this when I was older I made band aides for all skin tones that my paints could mix. This surface covered over 1400 band aides and took over 30 hours to create.
